After struggling to cope with Sharna Burgess‘ demanding Dancing With the Stars season 35 schedule, Brian Austin Green revealed how long his fiancée will be away for the show’s 2027 tour.

“The tour isn’t until next year,” Green, 53, exclusively told Us while promoting his appearance on the Monday, October 12, episode of Fox’s Celebrity Name That Time. “It’s, like, February and March that she’s doing it.”

Green confirmed that Burgess, 41, wasn’t planning a lengthy commitment.

“She’s doing one week in February and one week in March. Just to go and do it,” he explained. “Because she loves dancing and she absolutely should experience the fan reaction because she’s loved and people love the fact that she’s back, so she should go do it.”

The actor, who shares 4-year-old son Zane with Burgess, told Us he didn’t mind having to “hold down the fort” at home.

“Then it’ll be the same thing when I’m gone doing something,” he added. “She’ll be holding down the fort. We are learning the trade off of that.”

ABC announced earlier this month that Dancing With the Stars: Live! 2027 will be taking place early next year. Burgess, Brandon Armstrong, Rylee Arnold, Alan Bersten, Hailey Bills, Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson, Emma Slater, Ezra Sosa, Adele Zaikman and Britt Stewart are all expected to headline.

The Dancing With the Stars troupe — Kamri Peterson, Onye Stevenson, Jaxon Willard and Carter Williams — will also join the tour.

Burgess’ decision to make an appearance on the road comes after Green acknowledged that it has “been hard” with her back on the dance floor.

“The Dancing With the Stars schedule is a pretty packed one. They have a lot of stuff that they do so it’s not the time that I’m used to [having] with her. It’s just taking getting used to. It is going OK, it’s going to be really busy for the next month and a half if she makes it all the way to the end,” he told Us. “So compartmentalize the stuff and then when it’s done and then she has time, then it’s cool. Now we have our time back together again and it’s the same thing when I’m working.”

The couple, who have been engaged since 2023, make an effort to support each other’s careers.

“When I’m out of town or I’m doing stuff, she has to buckle down and things just change. We have crazy careers that way. What we do is not a typical 9 to 5 and we’re constantly learning and growing and adapting,” he gushed. “Honestly, it all makes us stronger.”

Green praised him and Burgess for putting in the work, adding, “You hit these bumps and these things where it becomes really difficult to navigate for a minute. You’re not sure what to do and then find this new direction and this new way of handling it and then it makes you stronger.”

Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
