The Aerosmith rocker joined a long list of Nashville guest stars including Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Michelle Obama when he showed up on the set of the hit ABC drama to record his spot alongside series regular Hayden Panettiere who plays Juliette Barnes in the show.

Tyler, who wore an amazing silver ensemble for his small screen country moment, shared a snap of himself and Panettiere, 25, on set together via Twitter late on Tuesday, Aug. 18, showing off his awesome outfit and trademark scarf-covered mic stand.

"@haydenpanettier AND I GETTING A LITTLE “CRAZY” ON SET AT @Nashville_ABC YOU WONT WANT TO MISS THIS……#PATSYCLINE," the long-haired rocker, 67, captioned the snap, giving a big hint at the song he'll be performing on the show.

Tyler's appearance on the musical drama follows the rocker’s recent mini-conversion to country music. In May he released his first country single, "Love Is Your Name," which is the first song off his yet-to-be finished country album, an idea which came to him following a discussion with LeAnn Rimes.

"Country, to me, has always been oversimplified, by an accent, a truck, cowboy boots, a dirt road, a back porch," the rocker told USA Today recently. "But I think it's more about freedom and pride and hard work and the girl. And knowing everybody's first name in town, you know? There were 1,200 people in my town when I grew up. That, to me, is country."

For her part, Panettiere is a fan of welcoming celebrity guests onto her hugely popular show. Back in 2013 the mom-of-one revealed she had set her sights on a pretty unlikely star visitor. "I want P. Diddy to be on the show," she told the Winnipeg Free Press. "I was like, 'Let’s mix it up a bit, we could do a duet! That would be pressure!'"
