Taylor Swift made a young fan’s day at the Kansas City Chiefs’ home game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 18.

“‘I love your sign, so cute,’ @taylorswift to Emma🥹🥹🥹,” a fan named Maggie Ferrence wrote via Instagram on Sunday alongside several photos from the game at Arrowhead Stadium. “Thank you, Taylor, for being so kind, you made these Swifties’ dreams come true! ♥️.”

The photo carousel featured a photo of Emma holding a sign that read, “First Eras Tour Toronto N2, Age 5,” alongside a snap from the concert. Below that, it read, “First Chiefs Game, Age 7,” next to another photo of the young girl wearing Chiefs gear.

The letters were written in individual circles to make them look like friendship bracelets, which are commonly traded among Swifties in reference to her song “You’re On Your Own, Kid.”

The post included a video of Swift, 36, complimenting Emma’s sign while sitting in her VIP box at the stadium. Ferrence also shared photos of Lover-themed guitar picks seemingly gifted to her family by Swift.

Swift was spotted at Sunday’s game alongside close friends Este Haim and Caitlin Clark. The pop star represented husband Travis Kelce’s team, who beat the Chargers 22-6, by wearing a red sweater and her signature red lipstick. Her wedding ring was also on display after she and Kelce, 37, tied the knot at Madison Square Garden in July.

Though Ferrence’s post revealed a positive interaction between Swift and a fan, the “Patient Zero” singer also made headlines for her reaction to a different fan taking her photo. The woman stood beneath Swift’s suite and pointed her phone at the pop star, who appeared to gesture for the fan to turn around and watch the game.

“This is actually so invasive from these fans and Taylor having to ask the person to turn around,” one X user wrote alongside footage of the moment. “Please be better and give her some respect and privacy.”

Elsewhere at the game, Swift reunited with mother-in-law Donna Kelce, giving her a big hug and a smile.

Swift has attended all three Chiefs home games so far this season. Her latest appearance came hours after she performed a medley of her songs at the Academy Museum Gala 2026 in Los Angeles. The event raised money to preserve film history.

“Taylor is an extraordinary talent whose work resonates around the world,” Amy Homma, Director and President of the Academy Museum and Academy Collection, said on October 7 ahead of the gala. “We are thrilled to welcome her to this year’s gala and look forward to her performance to close a wonderful evening of honoring three extraordinary filmmakers and supporting the Academy Museum’s mission to celebrate and preserve cinema.”
