Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney Beam at CinemaCon Photo Call for ‘Anyone But You’

The 34-year-old actor and the 25-year-old actress stepped out together at the convention in Sin City on Monday, April 24, and giggled throughout the photo shoot. In one snap, Sweeney, who rocked a pink jumpsuit, looked lovingly at her costar. In another shot, the costars gazed into each other’s eyes.

Powell and Sweeney have been spotted in Australia in recent weeks filming their new rom-com. The pair opened up about the shoot in a TikTok shared by Sony Pictures from the CinemaCon.

“The whole experience was absolutely incredible,” Sweeney gushed. “It was so much fun.”

The Devotion actor added that they got to “literally take over Australia” due to the support from the country’s tourism board.

“There was one day where we literally took over the Sydney Opera House and that was pretty epic — and Barack Obama watched us film the scene,” Powell said. “That was pretty memorable.”

The Euphoria star then praised her castmate: “Glen landed a helicopter and jumped out of it — it was really cool.”

News broke in January that Powell and Sweeney were tapped to star in the R-rated film directed by Will Gluck.

“So excited for this one …” he captioned an Instagram announcement at the time.

In a post of her own, Sweeney added: “See you soon mate ;).”

The twosome subsequently jetted down under to start filming. While the Top Gun: Maverick’s girlfriend, Gigi Paris, was spotted visiting him in Sydney last month, reports that the model unfollowed Sweeney amid production of the film are now raising eyebrows.

Powell and Paris have been linked since 2020 and she was on hand to support him throughout the Top Gun sequel’s lengthy press tour last year. News broke in May 2022 that Sweeney, meanwhile, got engaged to boyfriend Jonathan Davino. She has since sparked split speculation by ditching her engagement ring but has yet to publicly comment on her relationship status.

“I don’t date people in the spotlight,” she told Cosmopolitan in January 2022. “I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest. I have a great support system. … I have people who will battle for me and allow me to be on the pedestal and shine without making me feel like, ‘Oh no, I’m shining too bright and I need to step back.’”
