The low-key couple previously stepped out in the Louisiana city on October 31, heading a restaurant in the French Quarter area. Holmes has been in New Orleans shooting the film adaptation of best-selling self-help book The Secret, and Foxx has been filming a yet-untitled Netflix sci-fi flick with Joseph Gordon Levitt.

A day before that October outing, the Dawson’s Creek alum was photographed wearing a sparkling ring on her left hand, but her rep later confirmed to Us Weekly that the ring was just a movie prop.

Earlier in October, the couple were spotted holding hands at a yacht party in New York City. “Jamie held her hand as she stepped up onto the ramp, and they looked very much like a couple,” an eyewitness told Us.

Us broke the news that Holmes has been dating the Beat Shazam host since 2013, the year after she and ex Tom Cruise finalized their divorce.
Holmes and Cruise, 56, were married for six years and share 12-year-old daughter Suri. Foxx, meanwhile, has two daughters: Corinne, 24, and Annalise, 9.

Recent outings notwithstanding, the two actors have kept their relationship intensely private. “Katie and Jamie care about each other a lot,” a source exclusively told Us in August. “They tried to stay as quiet as possible because they didn’t want to ruin that.”
