Hit the Slopes

One lift ticket takes you to the tops of four distinct peaks: There’s Buttermilk (ideal for beginners), Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Aspen Mountain, the latter of which was where Paris Hilton recently accepted Chris Zylka’s $2 million engagement ring. For an even faster ride, try snowmobiling like Gigi Hadid and Rita Ora.

Adventure Outdoors

During warmer months, this corner of the Rocky Mountains offers whitewater rafting and hiking. Explore the caves and waterfalls along Grottos Trail or backpack 17 miles for a dip in Conundrum hot springs.

Get Festive

When the slopes melt, festival season is in full swing. Come Labor Day, Lionel Richie, the Zac Brown Band and more acts will perform at Jazz Aspen Snowmass. Each June, the Food & Wine Classic brings celebrity chefs (Curtis Stone!), foodies (Top Chef’s Gail Simmons!) and all kinds of delectable treats to town

Shop 'Til You Drop

While in town with mom Hawn and her love Kurt Russell December 22, Hudson (the actress grew up in nearby Snowmass Village) headed downtown to hit the racks at Ralph Lauren and children’s boutique Lil’ Boogie’s.
