Rosie O’Donnell is weighing in on President Donald Trump’s plea for UFC CEO Dana White to become the new White House press secretary.
“I thought this was fake — apparently it’s not — he this the UFC – run by Dana White is going to save his fetid ass – #25thammendmentnow – he has lost his f***ing mind completely #gethimout,” O’Donnell, 64, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, November 7.
Alongside her message, O’Donnell shared a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social post announcing the commander-in-chief “offered the job” to White, 57.
“I am pleased to announce that the Great Dana White, a violent Fighter and Warrior, has been offered the job of Press Secretary of the United States,” Trump, 80, wrote on Saturday. “I have requested that he bring with him assistants, even though some are not from our Country, of Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harris. We need these people to defend us against the Lunatic Left. Dana will be a Press Secretary like none other. Dana, please take the job! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
After Trump’s post, White confirmed he’ll be discussing the role after attending a Zuffa boxing event in London.
“I’m flying to Washington, D.C., right now,” White said, adding whether he was seriously considering Trump’s job offer. “I’ve got a lot of jobs already.”

When asked to share “some of the conversations” he’s had with Trump about the role, White replied, “No. I’m going to meet with him. We have a meeting on Monday so I’m sure I’ll have more to talk about.”
One month earlier, Katie Zacharia resigned from the job after just five days. Zacharia, 41, has since publicly asked for another chance to work for Trump.
“I would love to work for him again in that capacity or another capacity,” Zacharia told Piers Morgan Uncensored in October. “Again, he is the most consequential president in history, and I have always been a history buff. I have watched what he’s done for this country, and it will secure the futures of my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. So, if I am asked to serve, even in a capacity that is not as rewarding, perhaps, I will absolutely step up to that.”
Karoline Leavitt, meanwhile, left the job in August after welcoming her daughter with husband Nicholas Riccio in May. (Leavitt and Riccio are also parents to 2-year-old son Niko.)
