90 Day Fiancé’s Kimberly Menzies is ending the summer back on the market.
“Hi lovelies! Just a quick update. After a lot of thought, Wayne [Hope] and I have decided to part ways and remain friends,” Kimberly, 56, wrote via her Instagram Story on Monday, August 3. “Long-distance relationships can be incredibly challenging, and we’ve come to the decision that this is what’s best for both of us.”
Unlike other couples in the TLC franchise that have shocking fights or dramatic ends to their love stories, Kimberly assured fans there is “no drama or ill will.”
“Just two people who care about each other and want the very best for one another,” she explained. “We’re grateful for the memories we’ve shared and wish each other nothing but happiness as we move forward separately. Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way.”
Us has reached out to TLC for additional comment.
After spending the first half of 90 Day: The Single Life season 5 focusing on her family, Kimberly headed to England to meet her then-boyfriend Wayne.
“I first noticed Wayne through social media,” she shared in a May episode. “I just thought Wayne was really cute and super funny, so I slid in the DMs. We’ve been talking every day since. … He’s 52 years old, he’s divorced with three kids and he lives in the U.K.”
Wayne told Kimberly that his favorite activities included going to the gym and spending time with his family. He also expressed how proud he was that he started his very own business.
“This could legit be my person,” Kimberly proclaimed in an episode. “But another international relationship. Do I really want to invest my time and money to go over to another country to have my heart broken again?”
This year, Kimberly continues to make herself a priority. In April, she debuted a brand-new smile after going through dental implant surgery.
One month earlier, she celebrated her health and wellness journey by showcasing her weight loss.
“Losing 70 pounds has really helped my self-confidence! I have more energy and just feel good all around,” Kimberly exclusively told Us on March 9. “I used to despise shopping for clothes and now I love it!”
The reality star — who first appeared on season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2022 when she was dating Nigerian rapper Usman “Sojaboy” Umar — continues to document her reality in San Diego, California, on social media.
