Are wedding bells ringing in Stars Hollow? On Sunday, March 13, a fan spotted a clue during a Gilmore Girls set visit that seems to suggest one of the characters might be walking down the aisle in Netflix’s upcoming four-part revival.
While taking a tour of Warner Bros. Studios’ prop storage area, Gilmore Girls devotee Jordan McKamie spotted a telling sign of upcoming nuptials on the highly anticipated reboot.
“We took a tour of Warner Bros studio today and saw Stars Hollow but couldn’t take pics,” McKamie wrote alongside a photo of a lamp with a Gilmore Girls “wedding” hold sheet taped to it. “But we did see this in the prop storage!! #spoiler!!! #wedding? #gilmoregirlsrevival #wbtourhollywood #hollywood#california #gilmoregirls #jessforever”
As loyal viewers of the show — which ended in 2007 after seven seasons — will recall, Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) turned down a proposal from Logan Huntzberger (Matt Czuchry) in a heartbreaking scene during the penultimate episode of the beloved CW series.
“I feel that the show is about two strong independent women, and that refusal captures the heart of the show. And I don’t think it was personal to Logan. I just think it was the right decision for Rory regardless of who her boyfriend was,” Czuchry, 38, said during a Reddit AMA in May 2015.
Although we’ll have to wait and see which characters might finally get hitched when Gilmore Girls returns, fans have already voiced a few different theories on Twitter. Some are keeping their fingers crossed for Rory and Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) while others are hoping that Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) tie the knot.
