Thunder! America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will officially return for season 4 — but which NFL dancers will be back?
Netflix announced in August 2026, ahead of that year’s NFL season, that the hit docuseries would return.
“Every season we get a little further past the performance and closer to the person,” executive producer Greg Whiteley said in a statement. “What excites me is more than just who makes the team — it’s what these women are willing to explore and let viewers see along their journey. That kind of trust takes years, and I’m grateful we get another season to tell their stories.”
The new episodes will follow the DCCs across the 2026 football season after making the team in July.
By the end of 2026’s season 3, fifth year vets like Megan McElaney and Kleine Powell hung up their poms, while Reece Weaver shocked fans with her retirement after just three seasons.
“I think right now it’s just trying to figure out what life is and being excited for all the things that are thrown at us,” Reece exclusively told Us in June 2026, revealing she recently relocated to Alabama with husband Will Allman. “We’re just soaking in this time right now. I don’t want to say that we’re empty nesters — because that’s kind of where our parents are right now, they can just kind of pick up and go wherever — but we are kind of living in our empty nester season.”
Despite settling in Alabama, Reece and Will temporarily relocated to New York City months later as the dancer made her Broadway debut in Chicago.
Scroll below to see which America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders stars will return for season 4:
Kelli Finglass
As the senior director of the DCC, Kelli will be back to advise the dancers throughout the football season.
“Each new season is another opportunity to showcase the extraordinary talent, dedication and individuality of our team,” she said in a statement. “We’re proud to continue to share their stories and artistry with audiences, inspiring the next generation of young performers all over the world to dream big and pursue their passions.”
Judy Trammell
Just like Kelli, the squad’s head choreographer will also return for season 4.
Charly Barby
Fan favorite Charly is a second group leader for the 2026 season, and will likely return to the Netflix doc.
Kelly Villares
Charly’s DCC best friend will also likely return to America’s Sweethearts, as she made the team yet again.
Anna Kate Sundvold
A rookie in season 1, Anna Kate is now a group leader.
Camille Sturdivant
Fellow group leader Camille is also poised to appear in season 4.
Faith Ward
Go “The Cowboys” because Faith is ready for her veteran year in 2026.
Jenna Waller
The “comeback girl” of season 3, Jenna made the team again in 2026 and is expected to return to America’s Sweethearts.
Emily Awbrey
The former cruise ship dancer made the team in July 2026 after her season 3 elimination, which will presumably be featured in season 4.
Savanna Dastrup
While Savanna was heartbroken to be cut in season 3, she came back and made the team for the 2026 season. Fans will follow her comeback in the new episodes.
Megan McElaney
Megan retired at the end of season 3 and therefore is unlikely to return to the show.
Kleine Powell
After retiring from the DCC at the end of the 2025 season, it’s likely Kleine’s stint on the Netflix doc is over.
Reece Weaver
Given her retirement and new Broadway role, Reece is not expected to appear on season 4.
