Is everyone OK? Andi Dorfman‘s recent book became a thorny topic of conversation for Josh Murray and Nick Viall on Bachelor in Paradise‘s Monday, August 8, episode, and the former Bachelorette took to Twitter on Tuesday, August 9, to weigh in on the debate.
The ABC dating series’ August 8 episode featured the arrival of Murray, the Bachelorette season 10 winner and Dorfman’s ex-fiancé. In the episode, Murray went on a date with Amanda Stanton, who asked him about Dorfman and their turbulent split.
Murray, 31, took the opportunity to address the claims that Dorfman made about him in her recent book, It’s Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak Into Happily Never After. He told the camera, “I can’t comment on specific things in any kind of book that my ex has written because it’s a fictional story. There’s stuff that’s so ludicrous — how do you comment on something like that?”
Dorfman, 29, appeared to respond to Murray’s comments by tweeting on August 9, “I speak two languages … English and Truth.”
Dorfman and Murray got engaged in the Bachelorette finale that aired in July 2014, but they called it quits in January 2015. In her tell-all, the reality TV star referred to their romance as “the most volatile and f–ked up relationship of my life.”
For his part, Viall, 35 — who was the season 10 runner-up and has previously had friction with Murray — told the camera on Paradise that he is inclined to believe Dorfman’s assessment of her time with his rival.
