Britney’s back … bitch! Pop icon Britney Spears kicked off her Las Vegas residency on Dec. 27 with a star-studded audience, killer performances, and a series of costume changes. Some of the “Perfume” crooner’s looks were reminiscent of her iconic music videos and past world tours.
Spears, 32, donned the famous nude-colored sequin body suit from her “Toxic” music video and several tummy-baring ensembles that resembled looks from her 2009 Circus Tour.
The Planet Hollywood Hotel residency is set to run for two years. On Dec. 27 tons of A-Listers come out to support the former Mouseketeer’s premiere, including Miley Cyrus, her rumored fling Kellan Lutz, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Adam Lambert, Emile Hirsch, Holly Madison, and Spears’ younger sister Jamie Lynn and her fiance Jamie Watson.
“Wow… perfect audience for the 1st #PieceOfMe show! That was AMAZING! I [heart] you Vegas!!!” the mother of two wrote on Facebook following her debut.
The Grammy winner’s setlist in her 90-minute show includes numerous hits from her …Baby One More Time days all the way to her recent Britney Jean album release.
Spears also had a second successful show on Saturday, Dec. 28. Following the performance, she tweeted, “Vegas, thanks for making me feel at home.”
