Charlize Theron has some pretty killer comedy chops! The A Million Ways to Die in the West actress—who’s gearing up to host Saturday Night Live on May 10 for the first time in nearly 14 years—demonstrated one way to die when she joined SNL cast member Taran Killam to film the promos for her big gig.
In one of the many short bits from the video, Theron tells Killam about doing stunts for her new movie. “What kind of stunts?” he asks excitedly. She responds by kicking him in the leg and then (fake) snapping his neck. “Stuff like that,” she quips.
Other bits include a montage of the two practicing “model face” and a humorous reference to some mysterious feud between the Oscar-winning actress, 38, and cast member Aidy Bryant.
Theron—who’s dating fellow Academy Award winner Sean Penn—last hosted Saturday Night Live back in November 2000. The musical guest at that time was Paul Simon, who performed “Hurricane Eye” and “Old.” This time around, she’ll be joined by The Black Keys.
