He’s in her corner! Donald Trump will be cheering on his second ex-wife, Marla Maples, as she competes on season 22 of Dancing With the Stars.
“I think it is wonderful,” Trump, 69, tells Us Weekly in a statement. “I am very happy for her and think she will do very well.”
The GOP presidential front-runner and Maples, 52, were married from 1993 to 1999, and share daughter Tiffany, 22.
No word yet on whether Trump will attend a live taping of the ABC show, but he’ll have a presence regardless. “During Latin Week, Geraldo [Rivera] is planning to do a dance where he’s dressed up like Trump and his partner Edyta [Śliwińska] will be dressed as Melania!” an insider exclusively tells Us.

Us broke the news last week that Maples, who is teamed with Tony Dovolani, will be kicking up her heels on the ABC show. The actress will be competing against other stars such as Full House alum Jodie Sweetin, Good Morning America‘s Ginger Zee and Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris.
Dancing With the Stars returns to ABC on Monday, March 21, at 8 p.m. EST.
