Don't expect to analyze any Oscar nominees' manicures when E!'s live red carpet show airs on Sunday, Feb. 22. The red carpet fixture has been pulled by the network due to "space constraints," senior VP of media relations Sarah Goldstein told The Hollywood Reporter (via Pret-a-Reporter).
The network's decision comes after several live rejections from A-list stars like Jennifer Aniston, Julianne Moore, and Reese Witherspoon, who opted not to parade their nails down the miniature red carpet this awards season.
Following the Cake star's publicized dismissal at the SAG Awards in January, E! did not feature the Mani Cam at the 2015 Grammy Awards earlier this month. Instead the network used the "Clutch Cam," but neither fixture will be used at the 87th Annual Academy Awards.
