Pure magic. Ellen DeGeneres poked fun at Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike movies by rounding up a group of female stars, including Chrissy Teigen, Oprah Winfrey, Olivia Munn and even Tatum’s wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, to hilariously spoof the film franchise by playing the worst strippers ever.
In a preview for the daytime host’s upcoming 14th season of the Ellen DeGeneres Show (which premieres Tuesday, September 6), she treats fans to the funny clip titled “Magic Michelle.”
“Magic Mike was a huge, huge hit — I mean so big that they’re doing an all-female reboot because, you know, they’re doing that with everything,” DeGeneres, 58, tells her studio audience before introducing the segment. “They did the Ghostbusters and Ocean’s Eleven and thanks to Channing, I get to show you the exclusive sneak peek. Here it is.”
In the video, which you can watch in all its glory above, the five women strut their stuff in an array of inexplicably curated ensembles.
Munn (stripper name: “Honeydew”), dressed in a red crop top and sporting pigtails and a larger-than-life pushup bra, holds a tray of beverages and tells the camera, “You look thirsty.” She clumsily drops the tray: “You still look thirsty.”
Next, Dewan Tatum (aka “Peppermint”) takes the floor in a Britney Spears–inspired schoolgirl uniform. “I don’t do this to pay for school,” she says as she forcefully slaps a ruler against her hand. “I already have a PhD!” (Um, what?)
A Daisy Dukes–clad Teigen (better known as “Linda Peterson”) then gives it a go — if giving it a go means sloppily sliding down a pole and falling on her butt.
Soon, a bewigged DeGeneres (aka “Magic Michelle”) appears. She’s wearing prosthetic breasts and rocking what looks like a plumber costume. (Sexy, right?) She truly gives it her all: middle splits, shaky squats and, yes, even some nearly-NSFW floor humping.
Finally, Winfrey (as herself; however, her head is clearly superimposed on someone else’s body) lights up the stage by taking off a gray sweater to shimmy and shake in a revealing skin-baring bodysuit.
