That closet, though! Fifty Shades of Grey officially released a tantalizing new teaser for its second trailer on Thursday, Nov. 6, and this time, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) gets… dressed!
The 15-second clip begins with a look inside Grey’s immaculate closet — white pressed shirts to the left and a line of identical black suit jackets to the right — as the billionaire CEO character buttons up for the day. He opens a drawer filled with grey silk ties as Beyonce sings a haunting tune, presumably one of her contributions to the film’s soundtrack. The scene then shows Grey holding out his hand from behind a wine glass.
The latest teaser comes several days after the film’s lead Dornan, 32, spoke to The Guardian about whether he went full frontal for the film. “There were contracts in place that said that viewers wouldn’t be seeing my, um… yeah, my todger,” Dornan told the paper, using a British slang word for penis. “You want to appeal to as wide an audience as possible without grossing them out. You don’t want to make something gratuitous, and ugly, and graphic.”
The hunky actor stars in the S&M flick based on E L James‘ popular erotic novel opposite Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. The cast recently went back on set for reshoots of the movie, after wrapping scenes in early 2014.
Sources told Us Weekly that there was a palpable lack of chemistry between Johnson and Dornan. A rep for Universal Pictures, meanwhile, told Us: “No one should question the heat or intensity of our actors.”
The film hits theaters on Feb. 13, 2015.
