Their family ties bubble over to the business! French Montana told Complex in a recent interview, that he and Kanye West share a great bond, and it's not just the Kardashian women in their lives.
"Kanye's overseeing the production of my entire album," said Montana, 29, who's currently working on the follow-up to his debut record, Excuse My French. "I just wanna give my fans what they know me for. I don't want to change with what people are following."
Kim Kardashian's husband is helping Khloe Kardashian's boyfriend out with his "producing and rapping" skills. "We did like, four songs." (Later, Montana updated MTV on their work together and said the two had collaborated on five tracks. Montana also previewed one of his new tracks, "Bang," featuring the Yeezus rapper last Wednesday, July 9.)
Montana's ties with West, 37, actually predate his relationship with Khloe, whom he started dating back in April. "Kanye was actually going to sign me," the "Cocaine Mafia" rapper said. "Since around that time, we both had great chemistry and a great relationship."
The two have great conversations, too. "That's Kanye, man, we just sit down and talk about everything's that going on with hip-hop… this and that," said the Moroccan rapper.
When he's not busy recording in the studio with industry hotshots like Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Sean "Puff" Combs, and Miguel, Montana is busy tending to Khloe. At her 30th birthday bash, the youngest Kardashian sister told Us Weekly, "French is just what I need right now."
