Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea blamed Jennifer Lopez for her fall off stage during a pre-VMAs show, saying the "Booty" singer is "bad luck"

Jennifer Lopez is a lot of things — J.Lo, Jenny From the Block, Booty Queen — but Lady Luck apparently isn't one of them. Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea joked at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Aug. 24, that the "Booty" singer was to blame for her unfortunate fall off stage at a pre-VMAs show on Aug. 22.

Azalea, 24, told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet outside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., that Lopez prophesied the fall when the two performed in Chicago a while back. "We did a show together…and my microphone wasn't switched on. And I said, 'At least I didn't fall over,'" the "Fancy" hitmaker recalled. "And she said, 'It'll happen to you one day.'"

That day was the Friday before the VMAs. "I invited her to watch that show, and I fell off the stage. I was like, 'You're bad luck!'" Azalea quipped to ET of the American Idol judge, 45.

Fortunately, the rapper emerged from the incident mostly unscathed. She even posted a video of the fall via Instagram, writing, "Sorry but it would be a crime not to share this with you all, I know I laughed. #StillFinishedTheSongTho #KeptOnRapping #TheShowMustGoOn"

Lopez, for her part, recently sat down with Azalea for MTV's House of Style. The two also worked together on a remix of J.Lo's "Booty" song. "We have high-fashion booty in common," Azalea said on House of Style.
