Independent Spirit Awards 2015: Birdman Wins Big, Plus the Complete List of Winners

'Twas the night before the Oscars and all through Hollywood all the A-listers were holding their collective breaths. On Saturday, Feb. 21, the Independent Spirit Awards honored some of this year's top films — mostly of the art house and indie variety — in the final awards show before the highly anticipated 87th Annual Academy Awards. 

The two closest races — Best Picture and Best Actor — ended up favoring Birdman, with Michael Keaton beating out The Theory of Everything's Eddie Redmayne and the film topping its biggest contender Boyhood
