Steven R. McQueen rose to fame with roles on The Vampire Diaries and Chicago Fire, but he has since stepped back from acting.

The actor was born to race car driver Chad McQueen and former actress Stacey Toten. His paternal grandparents are Hollywood legend Steve McQueen and actress Neile Adams, while his stepfather, Luc Robitaille, is a former professional ice hockey player.

Steven made his acting debut at age 17, booking various roles before being cast as Jeremy Gilbert on The Vampire Diaries in 2009. He brought the character to life for six years before his surprise exit in season 6.

Steven joined the cast of NBC’s Chicago Fire in 2015 as Jimmy Borrelli. He was promoted to main cast before his character’s onscreen injury led to him being written off one year later.
