No more fighting over Joey! ’90s fans rejoiced and cried happy tears on Saturday, Nov. 15, when James Van Der Beek posted a cute shot with his former Dawson’s Creek costar Joshua Jackson. The pair, who played on-screen pals Dawson Leery and Pacey Witter, appeared to be at a party.
“The most pleasant run-ins can happen in the most unexpected places…” Van Der Beek, 37, captioned the photo.
Though they were best friends on the show, Dawson and Pacey often fought over girls, most notably, Joey Potter, who was played by Katie Holmes.
Holmes, 35, recently dished about her Dawson’s costars at an NYC Apple Store, saying, “You know, we all still keep in touch and support each other. And luckily, we all have been able to stay busy. We had a really wonderful time. It was six years of our lives, and we were all really passionate about making it the best it could be. We really believed in ourselves.”
While it’s been 11 years since the show’s final episode aired, but already it feels like decades, according to Van Der Beek.
“It’s so funny, it just seems like something so far away. It seems like another lifetime in my experience,” the actor told HuffPost Live in September.
