Jon Gosselin isn't getting married to his girlfriend Hailey Glassman despite a false tabloid claim, a source tells Usmagazine.com.
"These reports are absolutely 100 percent false," a source close to the dad of eight tells Us following In Touch's cover story that Gosselin proposed to the 22-year-old while on vacation in St. Tropez, France. The tabloid reported that the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star gave Glassman a $180,000 Edouard Nahum-designed engagement ring featuring a skull surrounded by four black diamonds on Sunday.
Regarding whether the two are engaged, Gosselin's rep tells Us, "no comment." After the new couple spent the weekend in France, Gosselin returned to his $1.1 million Pennsylvania home Wednesday to see his kids. Shortly after arriving in the United States on Tuesday, he told photographers that Glassman was staying in France and that he had to come home to "work."
How does ex Kate — who filed for divorce after 10 years of marriage less than a month ago — feel about his new romance? "I guess you'd have to ask Kate," Jon said Tuesday. Kate's lawyer did not comment on the engagement rumors.
