Kanye West Praises Caitlyn Jenner on I Am Cait Premiere: Watch!

Caitlyn Jenner has Kanye West’s seal of approval! The rapper, 38, met the transgender activist for the first time following her transition, and the encounter was documented on the premiere of E!’s I Am Cait. The outspoken West had a few sweet things to say to his in-law.

While visiting Jenner’s home with his pregnant wife, Kim Kardashian, 34, West called Jenner’s transition “one of the strongest things that have happened in our existence as human beings that are controlled by perception.” Classic Yeezus.

West also applauded Jenner’s bravery, saying, “You couldn’t have been up against more: Like, your daughter is a supermodel, you’re a celebrity, you have every type of thing, and it was still like, ‘f— everybody, this is who I am.'”

Jenner seemed touched by West’s supportive comments, saying, “This is all good,” and reiterated how supportive her son-in-law has been throughout the transition. “I love how he’s helped Kim come to grips with what’s going on,” she said.

Things ended on an adorable note when Jenner’s sister, Pam, asked West about why his shoes were untied. “The laces are sort of after the fact,” the fashion designer explained good-naturedly, taking off his sneaker and holding it up for everyone to see.

Never change, Kanye.
