What do you get when you mix Khloé Kardashian, Sean “Diddy” Combs, RuPaul, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and a cocktail called I Woke Up Like This? Kocktails With Khloé‘s Wednesday, February 3, episode, of course! The FYI late-night talk-show host gathered this crew to discuss pressing world issues, including whether Combs prefers to be called “Puffy” or “Diddy,” why Khloé and Snooki didn’t get along at first and just how old Kylie wants to be when she has her first child. (To put it in perspective, Khloé‘s youngest sib is 18 at the moment.)
Sean “Diddy” Combs Explains All Those Names
Though he didn’t make much more than a cameo (staying just long enough to ogle Kourtney’s very low-cut top and promote his new flavor of Ciroc vodka), Combs did shed some light on why he has all those names and what they mean. Apparently, the late David Bowie inspired him way back when to create other monikers, so he could have “different personas.”
According to the rapper turned mogul, Diddy is “a little too cool” for him most of the time now, so his close friends call him Puff. “It’s the beginning. It’s the most personal,” he explained of his nickname. Just to be clear, though, if someone calls him by a different one of his names, he doesn’t get bent out of shape. “It’s not really that deep for me,” he quipped as he gifted Khloé with a few bottles of Ciroc.
Khloe Wasn’t the Nicest Person to Snooki When They First Met
After all of the other party guests had finished fawning over how skinny Snooki had gotten, the pint-size reality star confronted Khloé about the less-than-warm welcome she’d first given her. Khloé didn’t recall the exact encounter, but did remember that they initially met at a party celebrating Khloé’s first wedding anniversary with Lamar Odom.
According to Snooki, Kim Kardashian had invited her. “I came over, and I was obsessed with you at the time,” Snooki told the evening’s hostess. “I was like, ‘Kim, you’re cool, but I really want to meet Khloé.’ So I came over, and she brought me up to you, and she goes, ‘Khloé, look who’s here!’ And you looked me up and down, and you go, ‘What the f–k is she doing here?'”
Khloé looked rather mortified as she tried to deny this took place. “I swear to God,” Snooki reiterated, eventually forcing Khloé to settle on claiming it must have been her alter ego in her place. (Yeah … sure.)
Kylie Wants to Make Some Babies
Not yet, but someday! Asked by Khloé if she ever thought about what she might be like as a mom, Kylie didn’t miss a beat. “I want kids for sure, and I feel like seeing you guys go through everything, it’s great knowledge,” she told her older sisters. (Though since Khloé doesn’t have any kids yet, she was probably directing this more toward Kourtney.)
“And I feel like I want kids before I’m 30,” she added. Sounds reasonable enough, but what does boyfriend Tyga (who was another recent guest on the show) think? Hopefully, he was watching and will return to the cocktail party at a future date to confirm whether he is good to wait about 12 years for children.
Khloe Gets Real About Caitlyn
Sometime between Kourtney prank-calling French Montana to tell him she wanted to sleep with his brother, and a lively, porn-themed game of charades, the conversation took a more serious turn as Khloé opened up about Caitlyn Jenner‘s transition and her much-talked-about televised reaction. (As you may know, Khloé was not the most enthusiastic about Caitlyn’s announcement.)
“I had a harder time — not with Caitlyn transitioning. I didn’t care about the transition,” Khloé clarified. “I was actually so happy that she was finally free, and she didn’t have to carry this burden. What I was upset about was that Caitlyn knew that she was doing [20/20 with Diane Sawyer] before telling us and then knew that she was transitioning, but wasn’t really so forthcoming with it.” She paused, and then added, “I was like, ‘Wow, I had to find out on [20/20] that you’re transitioning.'”
Khloé went on to say that, while she is fully supportive of Caitlyn’s transition, “it is still a loss” of a father figure for her. Kylie nodded as if she somewhat agreed but noted, “I would feel guilty if I was the reason that she didn’t live her life to the fullest.”
