When exes get together. Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner meet for the first time ever in the upcoming episode of I Am Cait, and viewers can practically cut the tension with a knife, as evidenced in the new preview posted on Thursday, Sept. 3.
"Uh, I don't know if we'll resolve anything," Caitlyn, 65, says in the clip from her docuseries. "But I should probably get some things off my chest… and her, too."
Caitlyn, clad in a tight heather gray dress and bedazzled shoes, nervously paces around her Malibu home as she anticipates the arrival of her ex spouse of 23 years.
"You know, we did have a lot of great times," she muses. "We've both moved on, both of us, but I don't want to throw all of the good times away. And so, for the kids, Kendall and Kylie, I don't want tension. I don't want to put them in a tough position. This is really very, very difficult."
And uncomfortable. Caitlyn says hi to her ex at the door, and is greeted by a friendly, smiling Kris. "Hellooooo," the momager of six, 59, says. "Oh my goodness! Look at you! Nice shoes!"
The two embrace and Kris gives Caitlyn a box of cookies. Meanwhile, a seemingly annoyed Caitlyn slightly rolls her eyes as she brings over a cheese dish. "Sit down, here," Cait says to Kris as she leads her to the living room. The ladies sit across from each other, and stare awkwardly.
As seen in another promo released last month, their conversation does not go well. "You're sensitive and amazing to all these new people in your life," Kris told Caitlyn as she blinked back tears. "But you're not so sensitive and amazing to the family that you left behind."
Kris added that she felt like a "distraction" after giving Caitlyn her "whole life."
