Blast from the past! Freaks and Geeks alum Linda Cardellini reminisced with Good Housekeeping about starring in the Judd Apatow–produced show, which also featured James Franco, Seth Rogen and Jason Segel. Though it only aired for one season in 1999 to 2000, the show quickly picked up a cult following.
“We’ve got really incredible fans, and we get new fans all the time, for a show that’s been around a while,” the 40-year-old, who’s engaged to director Steve Rodriguez, said of the award-winning series. “We get new fans all the time with Netflix.”
Cardellini, who played nurse Samantha Taggart in ER, opened up in Good Housekeeping‘s April issue (out March 15) about her first-ever celebrity crush. “Val Kilmer from Top Secret!” she confessed. “Not his biggest film, but I remember loving him in that movie.”
The Bloodline star, who wore J.Crew, Nine West and Michael Stars and other designer duds for the shoot, also gushed about her style crushes.
“I love to watch what Rooney Mara wears,” the mom of Lilah-Rose, 4, added. “It’s always exciting … She’s brave. And of course Cate Blanchett always looks exciting and interesting and gorgeous.”
Also on her best-dressed list? Her costar in the Netflix drama, Kyle Chandler! “I see what he’s wearing a lot, turns out.”
