Cue Mary J. Blige’s “No More Drama.” Luann de Lesseps and her fiancé, Tom D’Agostino Jr., are still very much together, despite rumors that he cheated.
The Real Housewives of New York City star, 51, addressed the status of their relationship while watching the show’s season 8 finale on Wednesday, August 24.
“Finally #finale! Remember it was 6 months ago, Tom & I truly love each other. We worked it through and are stronger than ever! #LoveWins xo,” she tweeted. “Thanks for all your kind words and #support #lovewins.”
Earlier that day, the Bravo vet spoke about the businessman with Extra. “I want everyone to know that we’ve gotten through it and we’ve decided that we really love each other and we’ve put it behind us,” she said. “I knew in my heart of hearts that Tom loves me.”
In the drama-packed finale, de Lesseps’ costar Bethenny Frankel showed her photos of D’Agostino with another woman. The countess got into a heated argument with the Skinnygirl mogul, 45, and told her to stay out of her business. The incident ruined their friendship.
Earlier this month, Frankel exclusively told Us Weekly how everything went down. “It wasn’t like this person was in a back alley doing a drug deal. [Tom was] in the Regency Hotel Midtown on their popular night, making out at the bar for two hours the night before [Luann’s] engagement party a week and a half after her engagement,” she told Us at the launch party for her new Watermelon Lime Skinnygirl Margarita in NYC on August 17. “I suck at relationships. I’m not giving her any advice. I’m saying these are the facts, and the question remains, ‘Would you want to know?’ … I’ve got the receipts to show Luann.”
De Lesseps’ rep confirmed to Us in February that she was engaged to the businessman after a couple of months of dating. The lovebirds, who were introduced by mutual friend and RHONY star Dorinda Medley, celebrated the engagement with a ski vacation in Vail, Colorado.
This will be the second marriage for de Lesseps. She and Count Alexandre de Lesseps were married from 1993 to 2009. The exes are parents of daughter Victoria and son Noel.
