Madonna is still the Queen of Pop for a reason! A new video of the singer’s isolated vocals from her 2015 Grammy Awards performance has surfaced online — and the result is crazy impressive! Without auto-tune, the 56-year-old still sounds as fantastic as her “Vogue” and “Like a Prayer” days.
Instead of taking the lip-syncing route, Madonna sang “Living for Love” live. And even with fast-paced choreography, she manages to not sound exhausted or have shortness of breath.
Madonna’s exercise regimen, perhaps, has something to do with that. In February 2014, she and her trainer Nicole Winhoffer opened up the eighth location of Hard Candy Fitness in Toronto.
“We warm up always! I change her program every week. This is important to shock the body. Without change, you can’t achieve results,” Winhoffer told Us Weekly of the cardio classes at the time. “We love to work on triceps, obliques, and of course, my favorite part — the butt!”
“One of our favorite moves is the plank on chair butt press. We get into the plank position with one foot on a chair and the other leg bent with knee on the ground,” she continued. “Kick the bent leg back and return the knee to the ground. It’s a full body move and a butt-lifter!”
