After watching this week’s episode of Married at First Sight, Amani shared all her thoughts exclusively with Us Weekly.
Amelia and Bennett
I can totally believe Amelia and Bennett met each other. This dress unbuttoning scene with Amelia humming and drumming while he’s trying to unbutton her is HILARIOUS. Amelia is happily singing in her own world but Bennett is trying so hard to focus. It’s so cute.
I also loved that at brunch, Bennett acknowledged the level their relationship is at right now but that he’d be willing to move if they grow to that place. Amelia’s family seems to really love her and they want to be sure Bennett will be there to support her. But, should his sister have brought up the adopting kids conversation for Bennett? I would’ve wanted them to have that conversation first as a couple.
Olivia and Brett
I’m glad that Olivia is attracted to Brett and is excited to sleep next to her husband. That’s great! It would be bad if she was feeling uncomfortable. Olivia is also super sweet so it’s no surprise that his brothers couldn’t find any dirt.
It did seem like Brett was trying to sell his religious view to Olivia’s parents, and her dad seems set on what he wants for her. I hope Brett can step up to the plate.
Christina and Henry
It seems a little bit awkward in the honeymoon suite. I’m wondering why Henry didn’t already have his stuff pulled out of his suitcase while Christina was getting her PJs on.
When it came to meeting friends, Henry’s were super rude behind her back. I hope this doesn’t ruin anything for their marriage. Also, I wish there was another guy at brunch with Henry to balance out the women. I know I was worried about that with my soon-to-be husband. Henry and Christina’s family all seem to be warming up to each other though.
Karen and Miles
It was so great coming to say hi to the Williams family on their wedding night. We were so sleepy but wanted to say congratulations since we missed their wedding. Karen was still feeling ill but it was great to see them while they were still in the wedding bliss mood! It was almost as good as being at their wedding ourselves.
Woody and I
Woody already thinks that we will be together forever after one evening together? He is so sweet. Rewatching him meeting my new family at brunch, I’m sensing more of a dramatic side from Woody’s mom. Initially, I was taken back from her devil comment. Why would you want to share with your new daughter-in-law that your son has the devil in him? But I think she meant more of his anger being questioned. I think it’s important that she alerted me of his temper. I’m hoping that his anger isn’t an issue down the line.
I also love the conversation about furthering our intimacy without sex. I love that we started like that. It made me feel closer to him without making me feel like I had to have sex with him to get that closeness.
Bring on the honeymoons!
