Meredith Marks is sharing her unconventional advice for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City costar Whitney Rose after she filed for divorce.
“I have not talked to Whitney,” Meredith, 54, exclusively told Us on Saturday, October 10, while attending National PrEP Day at The Abbey Food & Bar in West Hollywood, California. “I do hope she’s doing well, and I’m wishing her and her family all the best in whatever the outcome is.”
Although Meredith hasn’t been in contact with Whitney, 40, since she filed for divorce from estranged husband Justin Rose on Tuesday, October 6, the Bravolebrity noted that she’s been through a similar experience.
“Seth [Marks] and I filed for divorce, and look where we’re at. So you never know,” Meredith explained, referring to her temporary separation from husband Seth, 54, in 2019. (Seth filed for divorce from Meredith in August 2019 after 23 years of marriage, but dropped his petition that December.)
The reality star added that whatever Whitney wants, she’ll support.
“If you really want a divorce, then that’s the best thing ever,” Meredith said. “I hope she ends up happy. I hope Justin, the kids, everyone end up happy in the long run. That’s all I can say on it.”
Us confirmed in July that Whitney and Justin, 58, had separated after 16 years of marriage. The estranged couple share two children, Bobbie, 16, and Brooks, 13.
“They haven’t taken any formal steps, like retaining attorneys or moving out yet, but they are currently separated,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “They’re no longer functioning as a couple. The relationship has essentially come to a standstill, and they’re now trying to figure out what comes next.”

Whitney exclusively revealed to Us in September that she and Justin had actually parted ways in May after she began sleeping in their guest room that February.
At the time, Whitney explained that she and Justin were trying to keep their kids’ lives as normal as possible by rotating between an apartment and their family home, with the children staying at the main house.
“[Our kids] have so much love and support around them that their life hasn’t really changed much because we’re nesting,” Whitney shared. “Justin and I work together. We coparent. We do everything together. So, from the kids’ perspective, I would imagine, I mean, based on their feedback, it’s more peaceful. It’s better.”

She added, “The kids stay in our primary home, so their routine doesn’t change, their life doesn’t change. They have their bedrooms, they have their friends. My house is the hub for all the friends, so their life hasn’t changed.”
Meredith, for her part, is happily married to Seth despite their brief separation, which was documented during season 1 of the Bravo series. The couple share three children: Reid, 29, Brooks, 27, and Chloe, 25.
“I mean, we always have loved each other — that was never the issue. It was just we were completely disconnected and it was like a wake-up call,” Meredith exclusively told Us in December 2020 following their reunion. “It was like, ‘Wait a second, I better really make the effort and put in the time.’”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
