Robert Pattinson is about to become more than just Hollywood's most famous vampire.
The New Moon actor, 23, will star in a new comic book series focusing on the lives of pop culture icons.
The series, called Fame — which has already announced a Lady Gaga installment — will unveil the Pattinson book in May.
"These biography comics are designed to illustrate interesting tidbits to fans about their favorite figureheads, and inspire them to learn more," writer Kim Sherman told UsMagazine.com in a statement. "I chose to conceptualize A-lister Robert Pattinson from a unique perspective, immersing the reader into the life of the talented actor beyond his most famous role."
The 32-page comic will trace Pattinson's career from his very first performance in Tess of the D'Urbervilles at London’s Barnes Theatre to his breakout roles in the Twilight movies.
"Working on this book has opened an entirely new level of Rob Pattinson for me," artist Nathaniel Ooten told Us in a statement. "Before starting, I was only aware of the 'teenage vampire' Pattinson. After reading the script, studying the subject and listening to his music, I not only became very interested in Pattinson’s future work, but also discovered a new appreciation for this teenage vampire."
Bluewater — the publisher of the Female Force biography series that has featured the likes of First Lady Michelle Obama, Princess Diana, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and Twilight scribe Stephenie Meyer — is also launching more series of "culturally relevant" celebs.
Future issues of the Fame series will focus on 50 Cent, David Beckham and Taylor Swift. (Upcoming issues of the Female Force series include Ellen DeGeneres and Today show's Meredith Vieira.)
