It’s all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. Ramona Singer‘s penchant for throwing wine had real consequences on the Tuesday, May 6, episode of The Real Housewives of New York, when she angrily hurled her glass at new cast member Kristen Taekman and ended up accidentally (but not apologetically) drawing blood.
The RHONY rivals were vacationing at Heather Thomson’s Berkshires vacation house with the other ladies when the incident occurred. The whole group was enjoying a nice afternoon on the lake together until Taekman overheard Singer gossiping about her to Sonja Morgan. Swimming up alongside their canoe, Taekman eavesdropped on the conversation until she couldn’t take it anymore, and then surprised Singer with a sneak splash attack.
“That’s really not nice. You know what, Kristen, this is two for two now,” Singer said, referring to the time Taekman splashed her in a hot tub at a spa back in NYC. “You’re a f—ing bitch. Just get out of my face!” she continued, tossing her wine, and then her entire wine glass, in Taekman’s direction.
The glass ended up hitting Taekman, a model, and cutting her lip—but that didn’t stop Singer’s rampage. “Get out of my face! Get out of my face!” Singer yelled. “You did it, you bitch, on purpose!”
Us Weekly caught up with de Lesseps earlier this month, at the Tick-Borne Disease Alliance Great Imitator Masquerade Ball, where she talked about her costar’s now-infamous temper. “You know, she used to drink the pinot, now she throws the pinot,” the Countess quipped. “I don’t know what’s going on…Drink your drink, don’t throw it.”
