They’re backkkk. Bravo has released the trailer for the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and it looks like viewers should anticipate one emotional, explosive roller coaster ride starting July 13.
As announced Wednesday, May 14, the popular franchise will once again spotlight returning stars Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. Season one star Dina Manzo, and new inductees Teresa Aprea, Nicole Napolitano, and Amber Marchese will also be featured on the show.
Based on what’s witnessed in the preview, the most compelling storyline of season six will be Teresa and Joe Giudice’s legal drama. The spouses—who pleaded guilty to fraud charges back in March—are seen coping with the aftermath and how it’s affected their daughters Gia, 13, Gabrielle, 9, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 4.
“I obviously know what’s going on,” a teenage Gia says to her mom in the kitchen. Joe and Teresa’s oldest daughter then starts crying as her mom rushes to embrace her. Joe, meanwhile, asks Gia what she wants to be when she grows up. “A criminal lawyer,” responds Gia, while her father responds, “We need them.”
The Bravo stars currently face prison time, and Joe, potentially faces deportation back to Italy.
According to Bravo, Dina has returned to the Housewives franchise “to help her soul-sister (Giudice), but ends up revealing her own private pain.” Her divorce from Tommy Manzo will be chronicled on the upcoming season.
Also joining the fold are Amber Marchese and identical twins Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea. From the sneak peek, it seems they’ll fit right in with the Jersey drama—infidelity, plenty of gossip, and backstabbing galore—typically associated with the Bravo stars.
