The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Jennifer Pedranti isn’t in a rush to make things official with fiancé Ryan Boyajian — but she is looking forward to their wedding when it does happen.
“A long engagement is fine,” Jennifer, 48, exclusively told Us Weekly at the RHOC season 20 premiere party on Tuesday, June 30. “I mean, Gina [Kirschenheiter] even said she’s in her engagement era. I’m still in mine too. Two years later.”
She continued, “It just hasn’t happened. We live together, and the kids are in the same house. I mean, we feel married. I just need to now make it official, and we just have not done that yet. It’s coming.”
Jennifer went on to quip that she has “given up” on the kids being available to attend her nuptials with Ryan. (Jennifer shares five children with ex-husband William Pedranti. The pair, who married in 2002, listed their date of separation as 2021. The exes reached a settlement in their divorce in 2024.)
“I know all the kids cannot be there, right? I can’t get Dawson. Harrison’s full-time employment, traveling everywhere,” she explained. “So, Ryan has booked four Cabo trips in the next four months, and he’s like, ‘Pick one.’ So, when I pick one, I will let you know.”
Jennifer, who became a full-time RHOC cast member in 2023, announced her engagement to Ryan in 2024. At the time, Jennifer shared that the pair are “both super stoked and couldn’t be happier.”
“We always say that our love is a gift, and this just feels like the icing on the cake,” Jennifer told People at the time. “This is a magical time for us. I really am the luckiest girl in the world.”
Jennifer shared that Ryan popped the question to her during a walk on the beach near the Baha Mar resort, asking for her hand in marriage with a cushion cut diamond ring that was custom made by Enalie Jewelers in Mission Viejo, California.
“I was shocked,” Jennifer shared while recalling the proposal. “He was like, ‘Come here for a second’ and we walked down on the beach. And he pulled me in, and I said to him, ‘Are you doing something?’ And the second he got down in the sand, I don’t even remember what he said because I was so surprised.”
