No one is letting Vicki Gunvalson off the hook. In an exclusive sneak peek clip from Part 3 of the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion special, the OG Housewife is still under fire for siding with her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers as her costars continue to claim he faked his cancer diagnosis.
When one fan wrote in to ask if Gunvalson, 53, might believe her ex because she doesn’t want to know the truth, her daughter, Briana Wolfsmith-Culberson, who has often taken issue with Ayers, notes, “That’s my feeling.”
Gunvalson replies, “Yeah because if he is faking it, I look like an idiot.”
Newbie Meghan King Edmonds, who hasn’t been able to let the Ayers issue go all season, then chimed in: “You already look like an idiot. I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be rude, but with everything that happened throughout this season and everything that we’re saying, ‘Vicki you lied here, you lied here, you lied here,’ and you still try to defend it. I’m sorry but you look like an idiot.”
Unwilling to admit to wrongdoing, Gunvalson claims “I still don’t know.”
Ayers bowed out of the reunion claiming he had a work commitment and instead defended himself during a previously taped special with Bravo host Andy Cohen, which aired simultaneously with the reunion footage.
And despite their split, Gunvalson continued to remain loyal to her ex, saying in the clip, “I expected a casserole. I expected people to come over and really care about him.”
This comment causes her former pal Shannon Beador to fly into a rage.
“You’re saying you didn’t get it from anyone,” Beador, 51, says. “I offered you everything I could, so don’t tell me that I didn’t offer it to you!”
