After five weeks of intense competition, Petra Nemcova is the latest star hanging up her dancing shoes.

The 31-year-old supermodel was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars Tuesday night after a lackluster quickstep with pro partner Dmitry Chaplin.

While judge Carrie Ann Inaba felt the supermodel took a "step back" with her Monday night routine, Inaba's colleague Len Goodman was surprised to see Nemcova up for elimination.

"Petra's been fantastic," Goodman said as Kirstie Alley was declared safe and the vote came down to Nemcova and Chris Jericho. "Two weeks ago, she was [on] top of the leaderboard. It's madness!"

The Czech-born Nemcova — who's planning a summer 2012 wedding to British actor Jamie Belmer — was content with the results and thanked fans for allowing her to raise awareness for her Happy Hearts Fund charity through her participation on the series.

"It's been a life changing journey for me," Nemcova said. "So many people got inspired because of Dancing With the Stars that I started to do dance-a-thons at schools to fundraise for [my charity] and change the lives of so many children around the world."

A day before getting the boot, Nemcova told Us Weekly she was happy with her final performance, missteps and all.

"For me, whatever's meant to happen will happen," Nemcova told Us backstage at Monday's show. "Life is about the journey, not the destination. It's not necessarily just about getting from point A to point B, but it's about enjoying the moment."
