#Twinning. Steve Harvey met his doppelganger during a recently resurfaced episode of Family Feud — and the host couldn’t help but comment on the uncanny similarities between himself and the contestant.
The look-alike — a full-time pastor named Olden Thornton with Harvey’s signature mustache and bald head — told the TV personality, 59, that he doesn’t mind the comparisons.
“Every day of my life, people come up to me and call me Steve Harvey. And I don’t even have your money!” he quipped. “I mean, I think I should get compensated or something. I mean, don’t you think?”
After joking to Thornton that he should feel honored to bear such a resemblance, Harvey admitted that he might be the less handsome of the two.
“Actually, you know, I really hate to say this. I hate to say this, but I’m an honest guy,” he said. “You’re actually a little better looking than I am. Yeah, it’s kinda hurting me a little bit.”
The comedian’s comment caused Thornton — whose striking green eyes stand out in contrast to Harvey’s deep brown hue — and his family to burst out in laughter.
This isn’t the first time Harvey has met someone who could pass for his twin. During a 2013 episode of the Steve Harvey Show, the Straight Talk, No Chaser author was introduced to a man named Matthew, another carbon copy of himself.
“You have got to be the second happiest woman in the world!” Harvey joked to Matthew, implying that he makes his own wife, Marjorie Bridges-Woods, the first happiest woman on the planet.
