Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard Reveals She Was ‘Shocked’ by the Drama on ‘In the City’ (Exclusive)

The highly anticipated Summer House spinoff, In The City, won’t have any shortage of drama, according to cast member Lindsay Hubbard.

“It gets crazier [than the trailer suggests], if you could imagine,” Lindsay, 39, exclusively told Us Weekly at The Daily Front Row‘s 10th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards Sponsored by DAOU Vineyards on Tuesday, April 14. “The new people are actually old people to me. A lot of them are my best friends for years and years.”

Lindsay reunited with Summer House castmates — past and present  — Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Daniella Olivera and Andrea Denver for In The City about life in Manhattan in between summers in the Hamptons. The Bravo series also stars Nick Barber, Katie DeLuca, Georgina Ferzli, Whitney Fransway, Eoin Heavey, Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley, Yvonne Najor and Lexi Sundin.

“We have one of my best friends, Yvonne, [who] has been in my life for many, many, many years, but you’re finally going to meet her and her husband, Nick,” Lindsay teased to Us. “We have Georgina, who’s another best girlfriend of mine. She’s also a single mom … and I think you’re just gonna love everyone.”

She continued, “It’s very rare that I am shocked while filming a show, and I feel like in the middle of filming, I was like, ‘Oh, this is going to be a good show. S***.’ I feel like we filmed it as if it was going to be, like, 25 episodes. There’s a lot of content.”

Without giving away too many details about In the City, Lindsay hinted that the show will be worth tuning in for.

“You’re going to watch and find out for yourself,” she teased.

As Summer House fans have seen on season 10, Lindsay is now mom of 16-month-old daughter Gemma. (The Hubb House founder welcomed her first baby in December 2024 with now-ex Turner Kufe.)

While Lindsay and Turner coparent their daughter, the reality TV star has also remained open to finding her perfect partner.

“I have zero mindset. I mean, I’m into dudes trying to figure out what that means as a mom, and I don’t pay much attention,” she told Us on Tuesday, stating that dating is “not a priority” for her at the moment. “I’m trying to make it one.”

While Lindsay is easing herself back into the dating pool, there are a few non-negotiables that her man should have.

“Honestly, [having] a sex drive [and being] fun,” she quipped on the red carpet. “I’m a dive bar girl. I just like to go have fun because, like, when I’m not dealing with a lot of drama and I’m not being a mom and I’m not being a girl’s girl, I like someone to distract me. Hot, just be hot. That’s all that I care about at this point in life.”

In the City premieres on Bravo Tuesday, May 19, at 9 p.m. ET and streams the next day on Peacock.
