Mia Calabrese has thoughts on how Amanda Batula carried herself after watching Summer House: The Aftermath — and she is spilling the tea to Us.
“It was interesting to see all of the pieces of the puzzle come together,” Mia, 34, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting her partnership with Walgreens to share her “Ultimate Summer Must-Haves.”
The Summer House star noted that “hearing Amanda’s perspective” was one of the many things she was ready to watch unfold after not getting the full picture of her and West Wilson’s relationship timeline during the season 10 reunion.
When Mia did tune in for The Aftermath special on Tuesday, June 16, she confessed that she wasn’t “sympathetic” to Amanda’s situation after Amanda, 34, hooked up with West, 31, behind her one-time BFF Ciara Miller’s back earlier this year.
“Unfortunately, no, sympathy is not the first word that comes to mind,” Mia told Us. “I think Amanda had an opportunity to share her experience and her thoughts, and it just didn’t connect with me.”
Mia, who is very close with Ciara, 30, noted, “I don’t know if the audience felt the same way. Obviously, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but it didn’t connect with me in the way that I was hoping for.”
As Summer House fans know, West and Amanda confirmed their romantic relationship on March 31, just two months after Amanda and Kyle Cooke revealed they are getting divorced after four years of marriage.
The controversial romance caused a stir among Bravo fans — and the Summer House cast as a whole — in part because of all the alleged lies and behind-the-back secrets.

During the three-part reunion, which filmed in April, the cast confronted West and Amanda about their friendship-turned-romance timeline. Multiple castmates, including Ciara and Kyle, 43, pointed out that when they asked the couple about their relationship before they released their public statement, they denied it was romantic, making the betrayal even worse.
Both Mia and Lindsay Hubbard admitted during part 3 of the reunion that they had less clarity on Amanda and West’s relationship — and why they decided to get together and blow up their friendships with the cast — than when they started to taping.
The cast and fans alike hoped for more clarity on Amanda and West’s feelings for each other when The Aftermath aired last week.
During the special episode, Lindsay, 39, sat down with Amanda, while Kyle had a one-on-one conversation with West. (Ciara also spoke with West’s ex-girlfriend Meija Moreno, whom he was seeing when he and Amanda publicly announced their relationship.)
Amanda claimed during her chat that she made some “poor decisions,” revealing that when she started to spend time with West and his friends after her separation from Kyle, she felt “young and in my 20s and fun again.”
Amanda also alleged that West “pursued” her, claiming it was “f***ing bulls***” if he said otherwise.
West, meanwhile, told Kyle that he “said I love her” in August 2025 during a weekend in the Hamptons after Amanda and Kyle had a fight. West, however, claimed that they didn’t actually start something until February — but he was getting closer to Amanda the summer prior.

“I haven’t got to the point where I have told her or myself that I’m in love or not. But I do love her and have,” West explained. “I have cared about her for a very, very long time.”
While Mia wasn’t impressed with Amanda’s explanation of choosing West over Ciara — the women are no longer talking — she told Us that she does “hope for the both of them that they’re in love.”
“They’ve kind of, you know, unfortunately fragmented our friend group in such a way, and really caused such hurt, especially to Ciara,” Mia said reflecting on the fallout. “That I hope it’s worth something. I would truly hope that this wasn’t for the love of the chase and the game with them too.”
As the Summer House cast waits to see whether Amanda and West will last for the long haul, Mia is gearing up for another fun-filled summer.
Mia recently teamed up with Walgreens to share her “Ultimate Summer Must-Haves,” for the hotter months, including lightweight serums and SPFs like La Roche-Posay Anthelios Sunscreen.
“I’m a girl who is very serious about my moisturizer and SPF, so I love to have my SPF ready. I love my moisturizer. I love my makeup,” Mia told Us of her beauty routine for the summer months. “Walgreens is great because I can get everything in one place. [With] Walgreens, I know I can get anything from toilet paper, mascara, SPF, body lotion, for everything that I would possibly need to go and have a fun summer.”
Mia recalled being “introduced to makeup at Walgreens,” noting she first tried on makeup at the “one-stop shop” when she was a young girl.
“It’s funny that it’s a full circle moment that I still go there,” she revealed. “I’ll shop before I go out. I would go out last summer to Summer House, so I would always do a concealer, a tinted moisturizer, an eyebrow, and a mascara, and then SPF, and it was perfect.”
