Olaf and Queen Elsa in the building! The temperature in Tampa, Fla. on Halloween night was in the upper 80s, but at Taylor Swift‘s concert, things were Frozen. For the special show, the pop superstar, 25, brought out one of her signature celebrity guests, and this one was Broadway and Disney royalty.
Idina Menzel took the stage at Swift’s concert, dressed in a turquoise blue sequin gown like her animated character Elsa from the hit 2013 film Frozen. As Swift jumped around the stage wearing an Olaf the snowman costume and singing along, Menzel, 44, belted out some lines from the film’s signature song “Let It Go.”
Halfway through the song, the ladies shed their costumes and hit the stage in less theme-centric numbers. Swift wore her trademark silver sparkly mini dress and Menzel sported a black bustier with black leggings and heels.
“Frozen totally happened tonight,” Swift captioned one photo with Menzel on Instagram. “And 55,000 people sang ‘Let it Go’ so loudly, it nearly took my breath away. Good times, @idinamenzel.”
Though the Broadway veteran is used to singing for large crowds, she still had a big moment singing for the Grammy winner’s audience.
“Thank you @taylorswift! That was definitely an out of body experience. Or out of Elsa’s body experience! #1989tourtampa,” Menzel captioned a video of herself singing.
