Vicki Gunvalson had some harsh words for frenemy Tamra Judge on an upcoming episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County after Judge got into an intense shouting match with Gunvalson’s boyfriend, Brooks Ayers — all over ongoing questions about his cancer diagnosis.
Judge, 46, attempted to smooth over the confrontation by apologizing to Gunvalson, but the original RHOC cast member wasn’t having it.
“First of all, I want to say to you — and I would say it to Brooks if he was here — that I’m sorry for going at him as hard as I did,” Judge began, about confronting Ayers for calling her a liar. “I was kind of upset. So I kind of got hit with, ‘Wait, are you calling me a liar?’ Brooks should have never said that. He made a mistake by saying that.”
Gunvalson, 53, was not so quick to forgive, telling the cameras after-the-fact that Judge “has a track record of mixing up information.”
“I mean, why Tamra even went to Meghan with this information is beyond me,” she said.
On the Sept. 14 episode of the hit Bravo reality show, things got tense when newcomer Meghan Edmonds revealed the findings of her self-appointed investigation into Ayers’ past to see whether or not he actually had cancer.
Her search included getting in touch with one of Ayers’ ex-girlfriends, who had also previously noted that Gunvalson’s boyfriend lied about having cancer.
Gunvalson questioned Judge’s allegiances, noting that Judge and Edmonds had only known each other for three months — leading Judge to defend herself.
“Meghan has gone above and beyond trying to prove Brooks wrong,” she admitted, “but I’m here to tell you what everybody’s saying. I don’t want you to get defensive, I don’t want you to get mad …it’s [just] starting to wear on me, and it’s like shit does he have cancer, is he lying?”
At the suggestion that Ayers should have to “prove” that he has cancer, Gunvalson got upset.
“What does he have to do, die, to prove somebody wrong?” she demanded of Judge.
