What Is the Show About?

The Mormon Wives: Orange County logline reveals the show follows “a new group of dynamic young mothers in Orange County” who “collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity.”

The summary continues, “While some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo. Scandals and secrets will be revealed, facades will crumble, and families and friendships will change forever on both sides of the battlefield as this group of strong, game-changing influencers comes together to build their answer to #MomTok.”

The original Mormon Wives premiered on Hulu in 2024, following Utah-based influencers navigating young motherhood, budding social media careers and their sometimes complicated faith journeys. The show has aired for four seasons at the time of publication.

OC cast member McCall is one of the older sisters of Mayci Neeley, a star on the OG show.

“The biggest thing [Mayci] told me is be neutral. Don’t be too crazy, but be neutral [and] be in the middle,” McCall exclusively told Us Weekly in April 2026, detailing her sibling’s reality TV advice. I’m, like, that’s actually good advice ’cause it’s hard sometimes not to take a side. She’s, like, ‘Be a little bit more neutral.'”

The Orange County cast has only filmed a handful of episodes so far.

A Cast With Diverse Beliefs

The spinoff’s cast reflects a wide range of relationships with Mormonism.

McCall is a member of the LDS church and lives in Southern California with her husband, Kirk DaPron, and their four children.

“It’s a very mixed cast. There’s, like, a couple girls that are similar to me,” she told Us in April 2026. “We’re traditional housewives, and there’s a couple girls that are girlbosses with big podcasts and have been in the influencing world for a while.”

Aspyn, a YouTube star known for family content, is no longer a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Bobbi, for her part, was never a member of the LDS Church.

“We considered ourselves Christian, we used to go to church every Sunday and for a time I was going to church a lot too,” Bobbi said on the “Soul Boom” podcast in December 2024. “I did really believe in God.”

Avery, meanwhile, revealed on a January 2024 episode of her “Cheers” podcast that she has “never been a religious person.” In addition, Madison’s family are members of the LDS church.

“I view myself through the same as a lot of my Christian friends,” Madison said on the “Pretty Dirty” podcast in February 2026. “We all just believe in Jesus Christ, right?”

“I was surprised when we went to glam before this that she wasn’t with us,” McCall told Entertainment Tonight at a Hulu press event in April 2026. “I heard she was sick, but I have no clue.

Aspyn also hinted at a forthcoming development, “I haven’t seen [Jen] yet. I think I will see her soon.”

Avery, for her part, confirmed that Jen is already a part of their mom group.

“She lives where we all live. She’s a part of the Orange County mom group,” Avery told the outlet. “I think we’re all just trying to be there for her as much as we can as a supportive friend [in] finding a new community out here since she left Utah.”

Within days, Jen appeared to confirm her involvement, sharing a video of herself with the rest of the spinoff cast via Instagram, set to the “Full House” theme. She captioned it, “Coming to @hulu 2026!!” Us Weekly reached out for comment at the time.
