Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson takes his “cheat day” very, very seriously! On Sunday, September 23, the actor took to Instagram to give his 116 million followers an in-depth look at the meal he eats when he’s not watching his calorie intake.
The first “course” consisted of 18 large sushi rolls (we counted) and a bowl of soy sauce mixed with large pieces of wasabi. “The cheat meal Sunday Sushi Train rolls on… And yes, that’s hunks of WOO-sabi in my bowl of soy sauce – cause I’m proudly a sadist who enjoys pain and it’s time to go to pound town,” the Ballers star wrote, adding “#SundayCheatMeal” and “#SundaySushiTrain.”
Since the massive helping of sushi clearly wasn’t enough for the muscular celeb, Johnson, 46, also included a teaser of what was to come. “And after this, a plate of DEE-lecious cookies are waiting on deck for me to take a crack at.”
However, instead of simply snacking on a few cookies, The Rock went all out for his dessert course, too. “The #SundayCheatMeal Cookie Train rolls on… its 1:30am (post Sushi Train) and time for dessert,” the star captioned a plate of sweet treats in front of his computer. “Let me ES-plain what your eye balls are looking at right now.
Double milk chocolate and peanut butter chip cookies with creamy peanut butter smothered between the two cookies.”
In other words, even though it looks like Johnson is only enjoying five cookies at first glance, each serving is actually a sweet two-cookie sandwich, with a hefty helping of peanut butter in the middle.
And lest you think Johnson’s cookies were little, think again. “The camera angle makes these nuggets look small, but they’re huge,” the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star continued. “How are they you ask? Well, they’re just like my nickname after I drink tequila – Big, tasty & heavenly. I’ll go to hell for that one, but not before I take these cookies to pound town while watching the OG trailblazer himself, Quincy Jones’ doc on Netflix. Love it. I need to have tequila one day with this brilliant man.”
As absurd as Johnson’s Sunday night meal may seem, considering he spends much of his free time working out, the toned celeb should be allowed to have a heavy meal every now and again!
In what seems like an acknowledgment of his food-filled cheat day, the California native added, “If you ain’t cheatin’, then you ain’t eatin’ my friends.” He once again included “#SundayCheatMeal,” and threw in “#HelloGluttony.”
