It doesn’t take much to impress newlywed Hailey Baldwin! The model, who quietly married Justin Bieber in a New York City courthouse in September 2018, took to Instagram on Thursday, March 28, to share an inside look at her ideal night in with her spouse.
The series of four photos Baldwin, 22, posted is captioned: “My favorite kinda date night :).” It begins with a picture of a person, presumably the 25-year-old singer, standing over a kitchen island in a bathrobe. A to-go food bag and pizza boxes from Los Angeles restaurant Jon & Vinny’s are visible in the background.
The second photo features a bed made up with sheets and pillows. The Netflix home screen, which is set to “Hailey,” can be seen open on a television in the distance. As evidenced by the third post, part of the newly married couple’s ideal evening at home includes watching old episodes of Friends – Baldwin included a video clip of an early installment of the NBC comedy playing on the TV as part of her post.
The fourth and final post the Drop the Mic host shared was a close-up look at that aforementioned food – two pizza boxes topped with a bag – all from trendy eatery Jon & Vinny’s.
In fact, the food seemed to be the star of the night. In a separate post on her Instagram Stories, Baldwin shared a slightly different look at the couple’s Italian feast. This time, a bag from Helen’s – the “secret” wine shop that’s attached to Jon & Vinny’s Fairfax location in L.A. – was resting on top of the pizza boxes. “Date night done right,” Baldwin wrote across the photograph.
This relaxed night in for the pair comes in the midst of reports that the Grammy winner is dedicated to spending some quality time with his new bride. “Justin is extremely focused on his relationship with Hailey right now and himself,” an insider exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month. “He wants to unconditionally show his love for her and to everyone.”
The Canadian crooner was tested on Tuesday, March 26, when a fan suggested he only married Baldwin to hurt his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. “Why would I dedicate my whole life to someone in marriage to get back at my ex,” he shot back, later calling the Instagram troll “immature” and “mean-spirited.”
Bieber went on to note that he “absolutely loved and love Selena she will always hold a place in my heart” but is “head over heals [sic] in love with my wife and she is absolutely the BEST THING that has ever happened to me period.”
