Jimmy Fallon has a real dilemma on his hands! The late-night talk show personality took to Instagram on Monday, March 11, to share his funny (albeit slightly unusual) predicament.

Get ready to be seriously envious! Burgers, fries and chicken nuggets are pretty standard fast food offerings in America (and elsewhere) but in many ways, our international friends reign supreme when it comes to creative menu items. Fallon, 44, posted a photo of himself from his offices at 30 Rockefeller Plaza holding a plate of avocado toast alongside a green and brown Saucony sneaker modeled after the popular brunch dish. “Which one do I eat first?” asked The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon frontman. He also added, “#avocadotoast #sneakers #mondays.”

Several Instagram users quickly chimed in with their thoughts, many of which were equally clever. “That avocado toast prob cost as much as the sneakers,” quipped one. Wrote another: “I bet they taste the same.”

Others took a clear stance. “Unfortunately, we can’t say if the shoe has good fats or not,” wrote the Avocados From Mexico account. Mused another fan, “Sneakers first and work your way around to the toast.”

Actor Jack Black also weighed in, hilariously taking issue with how close Fallon placed the sneaker to his snack. “Well you can’t eat the toast now that it has trace amounts of anti-fungal foot powder on it,” the 49-year-old commented. “Throw them both in the garbage.”

Not so fast, Jack! The sneaker Fallon is holding is actually a trendy (and expensive) piece of footwear. The shoes, or “food for your feet,” if you will, are Saucony’s new Shadow 6000 sneakers. They debuted late last month with a $130 price tag, and, believe it or not, promptly sold out.

As evidenced by Fallon’s photo, the sneakers feature an avocado pit on the inside heel, but the intricate details don’t stop there. In addition to their green and brown hues, the kicks also boast red specks in the lining meant to depict red pepper flakes, a popular avocado toast topping. As if that wasn’t enough, each shoe also says “Saucamole” across the heel, because why not?

The avocado toast sneaks are a follow-up to the food-centric footwear the brand released in 2018, which paid homage to Dunkin’ Donuts. Those shoes featured the doughnut chain’s trademark pink and orange colors and were also decorated with sprinkles and a pink-frosted doughnut.
