Maren Morris isn’t a fan of red wine, but if Kelly Clarkson has anything to do with it, the “Seeing Blind” singer’s mind is about to be changed!
It all began on Thursday, July 19, when Morris took to Twitter to express her dislike for a certain variety of fermented grapes. “Guys, I hate to tell you this, but red wine is gross,” Morris, 28, tweeted along with “#UnrefinedPalate” and the red wine emoji next to a stop symbol emoji.
Hours later, Clarkson tweeted back “#Blasphemy” along with several sad face emojis and suggested Morris hasn’t yet “had the right glass of Pinot Noir.” The Voice coach, 36, added, “This calls for a winery tour! Seriously, we have to fix this. #CodeRedWineKelly.”

Not surprisingly, Morris readily agreed, saying she was “open to a change of heart,” and the cute Twitter exchange soon had hundreds of comments.
In fact, The Voice alum Cassadee Pope wrote that she wanted in on the booze tour, despite already having a love for red wine.
And while many people agreed with Clarkson’s assertion that Morris just hasn’t had any good red wine yet, others identified with “The Middle” singer and said they also can’t stand Malbec and merlot. However, one thing most people readily agreed on is the need to see or participate in this wine tour in one way or another. Check out some Twitter reactions below:
