Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is all about those late-night eats! The Fast and the Furious star, 46, took to Instagram in the early hours of Monday, March 18, to share a post-workout feast he was preparing for himself a little after 1 a.m. local time.

“So I just finished training, Sunday night. It’s about 1:07 [a.m.] You probably hear the crackling. My post-workout dinner,” he said via an Instagram video. The California native then panned the camera down to reveal the sizzling pan of brown meat that was cooking on the stove in front of him. ”This is ground buffalo – ground bison – brown rice and a little bit of seasoning,” he added. “It’s secret seasoning. I can’t tell you what it is, but just know that it’s hot.”

The Ballers alum then shifted the camera’s focus to a trivet in the shape of the word “hot” and said with a laugh, “Sometimes I need practical advice letting me know that the ovens are, in fact, pretty f–king hot.”

Clearly over his own joke, the Jumanji star added, “And I gotta get up in four hours. Happy St. Patty’s Day!”

He reiterated more of the same in the caption for the video, writing, “1 am and my post workout buffalo meat is a crackling. And my secret seasoning is a unique blend of salt and pepper but keep that shit between us. Happy St Patty’s Day.”

Though the massive pan of buffalo meat is a new post-workout dinner option for Johnson, he’s no stranger to feasting on jaw-dropping late-night meals, especially on Sunday evenings. Past favorites include 18-roll sushi platters followed by an entire plate of chocolate chip cookie and peanut butter sandwiches, and a large stack of chocolate chip banana pancakes topped with syrup and peanut butter.

The Rock, who gave his father a house earlier this month, is fully aware that his Sunday night feasts (which he typically calls “cheat meals”) are a sight to behold. However, given his grueling workout and training schedule, high-calorie meals are a must.
