Tom Schwartz Paid for Fan’s Uber to Tom Tom After Receiving Venmo Request: ’This Is Actually Gonna Work’

Tom Schwartz is one generous bar owner! The Vanderpump Rules star, who co-owns Tom Tom with pal Tom Sandoval and bosses Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd, recently gave a fan money so he/she could afford to travel to the Los Angeles hot spot.

The 36-year-old revealed via social media on Monday, May 27, that someone had sent him a Venmo request for $50, and described the funds as “Uber money to get to Tom Tom.”

While most reality stars likely ignore random Venmo requests from fans, Schwartz intimated that he gladly fulfilled this person’s wish. He posted a screenshot of the request to his Instagram Stories and wrote alongside it: “LOL this is actually gonna work for them. But they have to tag me in photos when they are there. Safe travels friends!”

The Bravo personality also offered some advice for what to order at his trendy eatery. “Make sure you get the nutcase, artichoke green chile dip and spicy cauliflower,” he added.

The food items are pretty self-explanatory, but the nutcase is a drink that is unique to Tom Tom. The libation features a mix of coconut rum, St. Germain, pineapple, fresh lime, orange, nutmeg and fresh coconut, and has become one of the establishment’s most popular cocktails.

In fact, Chrissy Teigen told Us Weekly she ordered a nutcase when she visited Tom Tom in February with husband John Legend. In addition to calling the drink “outstanding,” Teigen, 33, was impressed with her Tom Tom experience overall. “The drinks were spectacular and it was just a really cool vibe,” she told Us. “It was a good group of people. We really enjoyed it.”

Though Tom Tom has been open for less than a year, it has quickly become one of L.A.’s most popular haunts. It won the “Best Bar in Los Angeles” award from Los Angeles Travel Magazine earlier this year, and, according to Instagram, boasted a line on Memorial Day weekend that went around the block.

Given Tom Tom’s success, it’s no surprise that, according to what Sandoval recently said on The Daily Dish podcast, there are currently plans to “probably have some more Tom Tom locations,” in the future. The 35-year-old added that news of upcoming locations would likely be announced “soon.”
