Royal baby fever is officially in full swing! Given that Duchess Meghan is due to give birth to her first child with husband Prince Harry any day now, businesses and companies around the world are getting ready to cash in on the little one’s arrival.

Case in point: Whole Foods Market is launching an exclusive, limited-edition “Royal Addition Cheese” to celebrate the debut of the royal family’s newest member. Known formally as the Westminster Royal Mark red cheddar cheese, this dairy product, which is made in southwest England, “combines a slight pleasant tanginess and a creamy texture, with flavor notes of burnt caramel and a slightly sweet and nutty finish, to create a world-class taste, worthy of royalty.”

Furthermore, the big wigs at Whole Foods went on to note that cheddar was chosen as the cheese to honor the royal baby because of its popularity in both the United States and the United Kingdom – a nod to 37-year-old Meghan and 34-year-old Harry’s respective roots. “This rustic English cheese embodies the cultures of both the Duke and Duchess – just like the royal baby!” the Texas-based company declared.

Apparently, the appearance of this special cheese was taken into consideration as well. More specifically, this “Royal Addition Cheese” uses tropical fruit pulp annatto to it a unique, vibrant orange hue, not unlike Prince Harry’s signature hair.

So when exactly can consumers expect to get their hands on a cheese fit for a pint-sized prince or princess? The Royal Mark cheese is slated to be exclusively sold at select Whole Foods Market stores nationwide, though it will not be available in the Rocky Mountain region. It’s expected to be sold for $9.99 to $12.99 based on region.

Additionally, the limited quantities of the cheese are set to be timed to the birth of the new royal baby, meaning the product likely won’t hit shelves until the little one makes his or her highly anticipated debut.

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time Whole Foods has marked a royal’s birth with cheese. The chain honored Prince Louis’ arrival in 2018 with some “Royal Addition Cheese,” and five years earlier, Prince George was met with similar, cheesy fanfare, though it doesn’t look like Princess Charlotte’s birth was celebrated with dairy in 2015.
